The music we play

We play such a variety of music. Phantom of the Opera, Abba, Daft Punk, Skyfall, Life on Mars, Moment for Morricone, The Pacific and Star Wars are just a few of the pieces. There’s something for everyone.

Bournemouth and District Concert Band’s history

We started out in 1990 as the Kingsleigh Concert Band and became the Bournemouth and District Concert Band soon after in 1993.

Since then we’ve held lots of concerts and this year we’re celebrating our 30th anniversary in style with lots of concerts, events and socials planned.

Band socials

We’re a sociable bunch. As well as performing a variety of concerts throughout the year, we try to have an evening out each term. We also go to the pub after rehearsals.

Check us out on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter to see what we’re up to.
