£1,005.91 money raised for Cancer Research UK so far

Drum  roll… We raised £1,005.91 for the charity Cancer Research UK over the Christmas period. Thank you to everyone who donated – what a great amount of money raised.

You’ll have spotted us playing Christmas carols outside supermarkets and at shopping centres all across Bournemouth, Poole and Christchurch.

We want to give a big shout out to Waitrose in Christchurch who gave us mince pies and cookies to help fuel our playing. And also to Tesco at Tower Park, Poole, who gave us hot drinks and chocolates to keep us warm. It helped keep our fingers moving!

Here’s some band members playing ‘Hark the Herald Angels Sing’ at Tesco, Tower Park – our lead clarinet Nick’s favourite Christmas tune:

Check out more photos and videos of us busking on our Facebook page.

We’re looking forward to raising more money for Cancer Research UK in 2019.
